Fresh and so cherishing... That are some of my reasons on why I love Missoni’s design so much. Just take a look at this SM23 platform pump. A little bit demure, a little bit feisty.. lovely, isn’t?

A fine Italian made, this designer shoes id crafted with a soft, sumptuous suede upper that plays against the delicate texture and vibrant pattern of the heel and platform for a fusion that catches the eye without looking like it’s trying too hard. Not to mention that comfy, sexy lift from those stilettos.

5-inch is definitely a serious heel. Thankfully, the added platform aids our foot with some comfort to let us walk, conveniently and sexy with. Regarding fit, this Missoni SM23 pump runs half size small, and it feels a bit narrow. Anyway, this must have cost you $577, or less.

     Well,Missoni is a well-known and worldwide Italian fashion house based in Varese.it is famous for its unique knitwear , made from a variety of fabrics in colourful patterns.It started with a long long story before it went public......Here's the story:

      Founded by Ottavio("tai")and Rosita missoni in 1953 by setting up a small knitwear workshop in Gallarate.In 1958 they presented in Milan their first collection, called Milano-Simpathy, which was the first to bear the Missoni label. The business prospered, with the support of legendary editor Anna Piaggi, then at Arianna. On a trip to New York, Rosita met the French stylist Emmanuelle Khanh in 1965, which led to a collaboration and a radical new collection the following year. Their fame was assured in April 1967, when they were invited to show at the Pitti Palace in Florence. Rosita told the models to remove their bras, supposedly because they were the wrong colour and showed through the thin lamé blouses. The material became transparent under the lights and caused a sensation.With their designs being championed in the US by Diana Vreeland, editor of Vogue magazine, they opened their first boutique there, inside Bloomingdales.By the late 1960s, Missoni was making media headlines, and being referred to as the most original and eccentric fashion house of the day.The early 1970s Missoni reached the peak of their influence in the fashion world.

     Until today,the business is still family-run from the Missoni home,where the younger generation- Angela runs the women's wear section and Luca is in charge of the men's collections-plays a part in continuing the family tradition.
